Sun Bucks Food Program
Hello students and families,
The State of North Carolina is launching the new SUN Bucks Program, a food
assistance program that will provide benefits to qualifying students and families to help
purchase healthy foods during the summer months.
Eligible students may receive their SUN Bucks card this summer at their mailing
address on file at their school. If your child is approved for or receives National School
Lunch Program Free or Reduced-Price meals at their school, they may automatically
qualify to receive SUN Bucks this summer.
Take action now: Please confirm by March 28, 2024 that the mailing address on
file with your school is up to date with the best address for the summer months.

Roanoke Valley Early College New Student Application - Now Open
New Student Applications are now open for rising 9th Grade Students and for all rising 10th Grade students who are not currently enrolled in the Weldon City Schools district. Please contact Roanoke Valley Early College for more information. Applications are available via the school website. Applications are also available at the school.
