RVEC 9th Grade Parent Night and Rising 9th Grade/New Student Interest Meeting
5:30 pm - Parents of current 9th Grade students: You will meet with the counselor and team of RVEC to discuss moving forward successfully as an establish RVEC student.
6:00 pm - Parents of Potential RVEC Students: You are invitied to attend RVEC Information Night. This is a great opportunity for student and parent to learn more about the early college experience. Please see attached letter for further details.

First Year Teacher, Crishae Mallory, WEGA shares her first year experiences. (Click link for Video)
Ms. Crishae Mallory is a graduate of the Weldon City Schools District. She graduated from North Carolina Central University and returned home to give back. It is her desire to make learning fun and build our students academically. She return to the school that she received her early childhood education and is ready and willing to give back to the children of this Community. Not only did she receive an education but a drive to serve others and to become the best in everything she aspires to do. We are glad to have you Home Ms. Mallory. Welcome Back.
Sun Bucks Food Program
Hello students and families,
The State of North Carolina is launching the new SUN Bucks Program, a food
assistance program that will provide benefits to qualifying students and families to help
purchase healthy foods during the summer months.
Eligible students may receive their SUN Bucks card this summer at their mailing
address on file at their school. If your child is approved for or receives National School
Lunch Program Free or Reduced-Price meals at their school, they may automatically
qualify to receive SUN Bucks this summer.
Take action now: Please confirm by March 28, 2024 that the mailing address on
file with your school is up to date with the best address for the summer months.
