Weldon City Schools Teacher Recognized For Excellence

The North Carolina Business Committee for Education has taken the opportunity to highlight a certain field that is very important to North Carolina, by giving away two awards specifically for educators in agriculture. Agriculture has long been a major contributor to NC's economy, and Smithfield Foods understands how important it is to support educators in this field. Educators are a direct link to the future workforce, and the only way to ensure students are prepared for the jobs of tomorrow is to equip their teachers with everything they need to succeed. This year, one of the teachers chosen to receive the Governor's Education Discovery is from Weldon City Schools- Ms. Anna Bello. Congratulations!

WELDON, NC 13 APRIL 2023- Halifax Community College (HCC) hosted leaders from the John M. Belk Endowment, Education NC, and Weldon City Schools at the Advanced Manufacturing and Corporate Training Center on Wednesday, April 12th.
